In the Republic of Congo, UWM works through its two national partners. l’ Eglise Baptiste Evangélique (EBE) works mostly in the south of the country. Their Bible school l’Institut Biblique Missionnaire (IBM) is in Brazzaville. It holds class on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons, but can make special block courses during the week when there are visiting professors.

UWM has partnered with l’ Eglise Evangélique Chrétienne du Congo (EECC) for many years. They are mostly in the north of the country. Their Bible school located in Impfondo is called Centre de Formation Biblique (CEFOBI). It holds classes Monday through Friday in the afternoons throughout the year.
UWM also works with these two national church associations to plant churches across the country. In addition, it partners with the Dongou Training Center a ministry of the EECC church association. This ministry trains and mobilizes Bayaka Pygmy Christian leaders to reach the Bayaka nation in the Republic of Congo and the Central African Republic with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
In Congo, UWM is recruiting people called to commit two weeks a year to teach block classes in our two partnering Bible Schools, the Dongou Training Center and in four church planting projects. Those led to this work will be able to speak French or Lingala or be committed to learning one of these languages. There are also requests for English teachers.
