Between 1986 and 2009, Joseph Kony and the Lord’s Resistance Army slaughtered thousands of civilians, and abducted 66,000 children to serve as child soldiers and sex slaves. Two million people in northern Uganda were displaced from their homes as they fled the rebels. Now, the town of Lira, Uganda, remains a refuge for thousands of these people with no other place to go, and no family to go to.

Under the auspices of United World Mission, I, Nancy Kilpatrick, have established a partnership with the Ugandan NGO “Mama Pride Development Initiative”, to bring medical care, emotional trauma therapy, and evangelistic outreach to the people of Lira and the surrounding villages.

Our goal is to use medical outreach as a tool to share the love, hope, and healing found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are praying for God’s provision of a mobile medical clinic vehicle to enable us to bring our ministry to those who have no access to medical care in the villages.
Would YOU partner with us in this ministry by praying for us, and donating funds to help us purchase and equip this vehicle? Any amount is deeply appreciated. Apwoyo matek – thank you very much.
Obanga mi gum – God bless you!
